Friday ☀️ 7093

A cooler but still lovely morning, around 10 degrees with a light breeze. I’m really feeling the effects of all the work on the new patio in my bones right now, and I wasn’t feeling quite myself this morning, so I took it easy and just did a brisk “Three Bridges” loop with interval walking instead of the longer Tiergarten loop I’d originally planned. Afterward, I picked up a few treats for the weekend, and in the afternoon, I carved, crafted, and painted some more funny chestnut faces with my neighbor’s daughter. I absolutely have to take a photo series of those. But first, here are a few photos today on the theme of beauty and decay.
