A relaxed, mild morning. Today I felt like taking my usual walk around the Tiergarten, starting and ending, of course, with interval walking combined with breathing and meditation exercises at the Neuer See, as usual. Right at the start, I was treated to a beautiful view at the starting point—the Spree crossing just around the corner from my place. Shortly afterward, the sun beamed down on me through that very blanket of fluffy clouds from behind the Victory Column, and I couldn’t resist capturing the moment. Then in the Tiergarten, after letting the sound of the water at the small weir clear my head as always and meditating with the ducks at the Neuer See, I almost tripped over a metal face attached to a tree stump. A very small work of art on the ground that I didn’t know about at all and had never noticed before—no wonder, given how small it is. Unfortunately, though, the part that would most likely have contained some information about it is missing. In any case, I brought it along for you to marvel at. Then, on the last stretch of the walk, I came across one of the swan families going about their morning routine, watched them for a bit, and took a few photos as well.

Ein entspannter, milder Morgen. Heute hatte ich Lust auf die Tiergartenrunde, natürlich Anfangs und zum Ende im Intervall-Walking mit Atem- und Meditationsübungen am Neuen See, wie üblich. Gleich zu Anfang bot sich mir ein schönes Bild am Startpunkt, der Spreekreuzung bei mir um die Ecke. Kurz darauf strahlte mich die Sonne durch eben diese Schäfchenwolkendecke von hinter der Siegessäule an und ich konnte nicht widerstehen, sie einzufangen. Im Tiergarten dann, nachdem ich mir vom kleinen Wehr wie immer den Kopf freirauschen lassen und am Neuen See mit den Enten meditiert hatte, stolperte ich fast über ein metallenes Gesicht, welches auf einem Baumstumpf befestigt ist. Ein sehr kleines Kunstwerk auf dem Boden, das ich gar nicht kannte und mir auch vorher nie aufgefallen ist, kein Wunder, so klein wie das ist. Offensichtlich fehlt aber leider der Teil, auf dem sehr wahrscheinlich etwas Information darüber zu finden gewesen wäre. Ich hab’s euch jedenfalls mal zum bestaunen mitgebracht. Dann auf dem letzten Teil der Strecke bin ich noch einer der Schwanenfamilien bei der Morgenroutine begegnet und hab denen ein wenig zugesehen und ebenfalls ein paar Fotos gemacht.
