The already very warm morning began quiet and windstill, as if the world had paused to breathe. I pedaled my bike toward Jungfernheide, where silence and surprise met me in equal measure. A calm morning walk turned contemplative by the water, where I practiced breathwork and meditation on the island. Then the day took an odd turn. Right there on the path, I stumbled upon a tiny, lifeless mole. I buried it gently beneath a patch of rustling leaves a few meters away from the path. Later, hidden in the trees, I found the wreckage of a „downed plane“, eerily echoing scenes from the show LOST. The rest of the day was hot and sticky, and in the evening, the thunderstorm arrived as forecasted.

Der schon sehr warme Morgen begann ruhig und windstill, als hätte die Welt kurz innegehalten. Ich fuhr mit dem Rad zur Jungfernheide, wo Stille und Überraschung mich gleichermaßen empfingen. Ein entspannter Spaziergang am Wasser wurde zur Atempause mit Meditation auf der Insel. Doch dann wurde der Tag seltsam. Mitten auf dem Weg entdeckte ich einen kleinen toten Maulwurf. Ich begrub ihn behutsam unter raschelndem Laub ein paar Meter vom Weg entfernt. Später stieß ich zwischen den Bäumen auf ein „abgestürztes Flugzeug“, das mich sofort an Szenen aus der Serie LOST erinnerte. Der Rest des Tages war heiß und schwül, und am Abend kam wie vorhergesagt das Gewitter.
