Today I could not sleep long. Was waken up by some strange sound outside. First it sounded to me like car security alarm. But soon I realized that this is something different. That was somebody greeting, saluting the sports people on the street, right near my home. As it was like 100 meters away , I went to check out what is going on.
And I discovered that it is my neighbors greeting the Vilnius Marathon participants.
Over 11500 sportsmen from many countries, not just Lithuania, were taking part in annual Marathon run.
