Fractured... Review. I am definitely a fan of movies whose genres have to do with drama, mystery, action, thriller, suspense, psychological thriller; however, when a film has the combination of several of these genres; the taste and emotion grow exponentially. It's been a while since I've been here; but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to offer my review of a film that I just saw and that has simply left me frozen and glued to my seat. I'm talking about the film Fractured, which was directed by Brad Anderson; and from my point of view, the work done by this director has been absolutely masterful, because it really causes in the viewer that feeling of emotion and attachment to what he is seeing. For me; this film is worth enjoying because it takes us into the deepest part of the human mind.
The truth is that Fractured is a film that, even after finishing watching it, has left me frozen and my mind spinning constantly. This film combines drama, action, mystery, suspense, thriller and above all the psychological aspect in an incredible way; everything is combined to offer that magic, where we are not looking for a murderer or a culprit; but it makes us think if everything is real or simply in our mind. And I say in our mind, because both the director and the actors make us part of the story. That is to say; the film plays with the observer, we do not know if what we are seeing is really happening and we feel as frustrated, sane or really crazy as the protagonist; in short and from my point of view, despair, doubt, intrigue and the same plot become latent characters of the story.
You may ask yourself, where can I enjoy this movie?; you can simply watch it on Netflix and also on the Magistv platform. In addition; without detracting from the performance of the supporting actors, which we will talk about later because they are an important part in this plot; for now we will base ourselves on the interpretation of Sam Worthington who plays Ray Monroe and is the main character. Lily Rabe is Joanne Monroe, Ray's second wife; and Lucy Capri, the little Peri Monroe daughter of the two previous characters and that from her all the events are triggered. The truth is that all the characters without exception, will keep us with a lot of mystery and suspense, besides keeping us on the edge of our seats without neglecting us even for a single moment of what may happen.
Now; without giving too many details and exposing so many facts, let's enjoy how the plot occurs to understand a little of this theme of madness and anguish. In that sense; Ray seems to be a sensible person; however, he has a past of alcoholism where he sometimes returns, because in his life there has been a tragic loss that keeps him disturbed; all this you will know as the plot progresses. On the other hand; this was not limiting for the protagonist to form a new family; and with them, he embarked on a journey that seemed to be calm. But everything can not be roses and in an unexpected situation, they must stop at a gas station; there an event occurs with his daughter who has an accident and that precise moment will be the detonator to explode the whole plot. With urgency they have to go to a nearby hospital to attend their little daughter and everything takes an unexpected turn; because after waking up the moment of despair begins.
The last time Ray saw his wife and daughter was in the elevator because he had to undergo tests for the alleged blow to his daughter. Ray begins to ask questions, but no one answers; on the contrary, they begin to evade the protagonist. From that moment on, Ray starts a frantic search in all areas of the hospital in order to locate his family. This will be very difficult; since all the staff seems to be in a kind of plot that makes us doubt; and from my point of view, the film plays with the mind, both the protagonist's and ours and makes us wonder if Ray really had a family?; did he really go to the hospital with the family?, or did he go alone?; did Ray murder his family?; the truth is that the whole plot leaves open a mystery that invites us to become detectives to try to unveil everything that happened. Besides; your mind will keep wondering if Ray was deceived, or if it was simply a psychological act that you must discover.
If we go to the performance of the characters; we can say that Ray, his wife and daughter made us live incredible and stressful moments. This trilogy had a very convincing performance and everyone was within their representations; although most of the responsibility fell on Worthington, who has shown us all his quality; this actor is not improvised. Now; all this magic would not be possible without the performance of the secondary characters; above all, the members of the hospital who create at all times, that sense of doubt. These people make us think that something is not in order and they leave pieces that Ray must put together to get to the truth. The way they intervene simply increases the protagonist's desperation and ours as well; in short, all the performances make the answers ambiguous and the mystery becomes even more acute, especially with an ending that will leave you, as it did me, frozen.
In short; this film should not be overlooked and is worth watching at all times, because the plot makes nothing can be deciphered; furthermore, it invites us to reflect on the nature of the human condition and how truth, memory and trauma can distort a situation. Simply; if you are a lover of this kind of movies that make you think and leave you restless; this film is for you. Les hablo del filme Fractured, el cual fure dirigido por Brad Anderson; y desde mi punto de vista, el trabajo realizado por este director ha sido absolutamente magistral, porque realmente ocasiona en el espectador esa sensaci贸n de emoci贸n y apego hacia lo que est谩 viendo. Para m铆; este filme es digno de disfrutar porque nos adentra hacia lo m谩s profundo de la mente humana.
Lo cierto es que Fractured o Fractura; es un filme, que aun al terminar de verla; me ha dejado helado y con la mente girando de forma constante. Esta pel铆cula combina el drama, la acci贸n, el misterio, el suspenso, el thriller y sobre todo el aspecto psicol贸gico de una manera incre铆ble; todo se conjuga para ofrecer esa magia, donde no se busca a un asesino o alg煤n culpable; sino que nos hace pensar si todo es real o sencillamente est谩 en nuestra mente. Y digo en nuestra mente; porque tanto el director como los actores, hacen que nosotros formemos parte de la historia. Es decir; la pel铆cula juega con el observador, no sabemos si lo que estamos viendo est谩 pasando realmente y nos sentimos tan frustrados, cuerdos o realmente locos como el protagonista; en pocas palabras y desde ni punto de vista, la desesperaci贸n, la duda, la intriga y la misma trama se convierten en personajes latentes de la historia.

Te preguntar谩s 驴Y donde puedo disfrutar de esta pel铆cula?; sencillamente la puedes ver en Netflix y tambi茅n en la plataforma de Magistv. Adem谩s; sin desmeritar la actuaci贸n de los actores secundarios, de los cuales vamos a hablar m谩s adelante porque son parte importante en esta trama; de momento nos basarenos en la interpretaci贸n de Sam Worthington que encarga a Ray Monroe y es el personaje principal. Lily Rabe es Joanne Monroe, segunda esposa de Ray; y Lucy Capri, la peque帽a Peri Monroe hija de los dos personajes anteriores y que a partir de ella se desencadenan todos los eventos. Lo cierto; es que todos los personajes sin excepci贸n, nos mantendr谩n con mucho misterio y suspenso, adem谩s de tenernos al borde de la silla sin descuidarnos ni un solo instante de lo que pueda acontecer.
Ahora; sin dar muchos detalles y exponer tanto los hechos, vamos a disfrutar de como ocurre la trama para comprender un poco toda esta tem谩tica de locura y angustia. En tal sentido; Ray parece ser una persona sensata; sin embargo, tiene un pasado de alcoholismo donde a veces vuelve, debido a que en su vida ha ocurrido una tr谩gica p茅rdida que lo mantiene perturbado; todo esto lo conocer谩s a medida que avanza la trama. Por otra parte; esto no fue limitante para que el protagonista formara una nueva familia; y con ellos, se embarcara en un viaje que parec铆a ser tranquilo. Pero todo no puede ser color de rosas y en una situaci贸n inesperada, deben detenerze en una gasolinera; all铆 ocurre un evento con su hija quien tiene un accidente y ese preciso momento ser谩 el detonante para que explote toda la trama. Con urgencia tienen que ir a un hospital cercano para que atiendan a su peque帽a hija y todo da un giro inesperado; porque despu茅s de despertar inicia el momento de desesperaci贸n.
La 煤ltima vez que Ray vio a su esposa e hija; fue en el ascensor porque le deb铆an realizars unos estudios por el supuesto golpe que llev贸 su hija. Ray inicia a realizar preguntas, pero nadie responde; al contrario, comienzan a evadir al protagonista. Desde ese instante; Ray emprende una b煤squeda fren茅tica en todas las 谩reas del hospital con el objeto de localizar a su familia. Esto ser谩 muy dif铆cil; ya que todo el personal pareciera estar en una especie de complot que nos hacen dudar; y desde mi punto de vista, el filme juega con la mente, tanto del protagonista, como la nuestra y hace que nos preguntemos si 驴Realmente Ray ten铆a familia?; 驴Realmente fue al hospital con la familia, o fue solo?; 驴Asesin贸 Ray a su familia?; lo cierto es que toda la trama deja entre abierta un misterio que nos invita a convertirnos en detectives para tratar de desvelar todo lo sucedido. Adem谩s; tu mente seguir谩 pregunt谩ndose si Ray fue enga帽ado, o simplemente todo fue un acto psicol贸gico que debes descubrir.
Si nos vamos a la actuaci贸n de los personajes; podemos decir que Ray, su esposa e hija nos hicieron vivir momentos incre铆bles y estresantes. Esta trilog铆a tuvo una actuaci贸n muy convincente y todos estaban dentro de sus representaciones; aunque la mayor parte de la responsabilidad cay贸 sobre Worthington, quien nos ha demostrado toda su calidad; este actor no es improvisado. Ahora; toda esta magia no ser铆a posible sin la actuaci贸n de los personajes secundarios; sobre todo, los integrantes del hospital quienes crean en todo momento, esa sensaci贸n de duda. Esta gente nos hace pensar que algo no est谩 en orden y van dejando piezas que Ray debe armar para llegar a la verdad. La forma como ellos intervienen; sencillamente aumentan la desesperaci贸n del protagonista y la de nosotros tambi茅n; en fin, todas las actuaciones hacen que las respuestas sean ambiguas y el misterio se agudiza aun m谩s; sobre todo con un final que te dejar谩 como lo hizo conmigo, helado.
En definitiva; esta pel铆cula no debe ser pasada por alto y es digna de ver en todo momento, porque la trama hace que nada se pueda descifrar; adem谩s, nos invita a reflexionar sobre la naturaleza de la condici贸n humana y como la verdad, la memoria y el trauma pueden llegar a distorsionar una situaci贸n. Sencillamente; si eres amante de este tipo de pel铆culas que te hacen pensar y te dejan inquieto; este filme es para t铆. Bueno mis amigos; esta ha sido mi rese帽a sobre Fractured; la v铆 y no quise dejar de compartirla con ustedes, nos vemos pronto con m谩s de mis pel铆culas favoritas.
