Hello Everyone in this amazing community,

It's another amazing week in the Newbies Initiatives.
This is week 3, and here is my report for my team, which is team Three in the Newbies initiatives.
As usual we had an Hangout on Discord on Sunday 26th of May 2024, the meeting started at exactly 8pm, my boss @vickoly facilitated the meeting, The topic He spoke on is Hive Security and Guidelines
This is a topic that touches aspects of keeping your hive accounts safe, the meaning of keys, the different types of keys and their uses, he also spoke on the trustees account and many other security tips.
Most of the times people tends to be loose with their accounts and hackers easily get access to their keys, and then probably steal all the money and tokens in the account all out. But with the effective methods of keeping your keys safe, your keys would be well secured.

The Hive keys can be defined as special codes or passcodes that grants you access to your account and account transactions as a usually this keys were generated to you after creating your hive account. Most of the time you have the platforms/interface as you trustee account, let's take for example you used the inleo front end to create account, your Trustee account would be set by default to a inleo.

We have many types of keys:
The Master key : This is the key for generating other keys like your memo, active and posting key.

Active keys: this is the key for authenticating any financial transactions,votes, delegating HP, buying tokens and exchange of hive and hbd.

Owners keys, :
The owner key just like the name implies,Means a key that shows you are the owner of the account, can authorize you and give you power to create another master key, active keys , posting keys and memo keys.

Posting keys:
Posting key is used to post on hive.

Memo keys:
Memo key is basically used to send encrypted messages.

My Name Is Oluwadrey, I am the Team leader for Team 3, my team comprises of 9 team members, for week 3, seven of my team members were able to attempt and complete their tasks, two of which didn't do their own.

@toryfestus. I was able to reach out to Tory, she told me she couldn't meet up because of Work offline and she have been very busy. I couldn't get to Yinjuolu.

I want to commend all the members of the teams, they all did well on their task, they took to correction too when necessary.

My Advice to my team

I would love to advice my team members to build Good relationship with themselves, the importance of interactions between the team members can boost morale and lead to growth of each of the members. Good relationship can't be overemphasized in and out of the Hive ecosystem.
