Growing older I see the other side of life
The older I become the more sides to life
Tick tick says the clock as it ticks away
Unto an endless assignment of telling time
The sperm grew older into a fetus
Baby鈥檚 birth tells the older age of the fetus
Baby grows into a toddler and knows more
A teenager knows way better than a toddler
Sometimes ago I can鈥檛 tell my right from left
But now I know what is right and wrong
I was full of wishes at a particular stage in life
Fantasies turned daydreaming a way of life
But as I grow wishes are replaced by plans
And fantasies are turned into planned goals
Knowledge increases with age
Age doesn鈥檛 increase with vast knowledge
As you grow older, pay close attention
Knowledge lost might have no redemption
