This past fall I spend a couple of days in the mountains of western Slovenia.

Hiking and climbing are popular among tourists and they know also about another attraction.

Eco dairy products.

Local farmers still keep tradition and take their livestock on the green pastures high in the mountains.

Dairy products like cheese, ricotta, and butter are famous in this area.

I can assure you that first hand. I tasted them all.

The only thing I can't comprehend is that don't have a single photo of that delicious stuff.

How could I forget to take some photos?

But I did. It happens even to the best, hehe.

I knew by this flower that we gonna have a nice sunny day.

In case it is closed you can expect rain.

In these stables, the farmers milk their cows.

Livestock at morning shift.

They pick only the best forage and you can definitely feel that when you taste the cheese.

Simple but effective promotion.

On my way back I find this beauty.

And a couple more. Just enough for a healthy meal. With some cheese for the side dish of course.

Or it is the opposite. Who cares?
