This is a video I put together of a trip I made up to Dee Wright Observatry a couple of years ago. It was my first attempt at making a longer form video for YouTube. I thought now was as good a time as any to get it moved over to 3Speak and on chain. 🙂
Dee Wright Observatry was built during the great depression using the lava rock that covers the area. An old wagon road across the Cascade Mountain Range, named McKenzie Pass was first built here in 1860. From the top of the observatory an amazing 360 degree viwes shows mountain peaks and the far as the eye can see lava field. But don't take my word for it, watch the video and see for yourself. 😀
