With this sunrise today, one could see that it would be hot. Now hot for us is only 80f, but that is nothing compared to most of our country being around 100 or more right now. So with the day being nice, I needed some fresh air. This spot is good because it is in our city, so you only have to drive a few minutes to get here.
For a few hours it tried to get cloudy, sometimes we have a marine layer of clouds that try and creep in for a few, but this time of year the sun usually burns it off pretty quick.
I do like beer sometimes in the woods, but today being hot, I will stick to some Brisk Mate, I do not want to get dehydrated at my age..lol
The only problem where I live is that the water temperature never gets really warm, we have some of the coldest lakes and rivers year round. The water temps never get above 60f most of the time, that is not good for swimming unless its 100f out. So hot that that cold water does not matter on thoes days, but that will be in August probably before we see a 100f day if we even ever get that hot. Some summers we dont even get into the 90's even, but this year we have a few times. Here is the water. I got full on sunny a few hours ago, and this was when a few people finally got out on the water.
On the way here, you cross the massive Columbia River, and today I saw a giant Honda ship, I wonder how many cars are in there? Thanks for viewing, and have a great night!
