Yes the big day is here. I have to say it is a little bit special as it is really our first Christmas in Virginia. Its a was sunny, blue sky day as so many are here. I like to joke with my son that 64 degrees is what we were paying for when we left Michigan and bought a place here. 500 miles south did not disappoint so far.
I wish I could report being on some exotic vacation. I cannot, yet the day was a good one because I got a good bit of work done. I know; how boring, right? My Cummins diesel has two fuel filters that were in need of a change. I certainly did not want to waste the lovely weather, so Ben and I got that job done.
Sure does feel good to get a job done. It feels even better to get a project done that you have been working on for some time. I know this firsthand, because I think I fixed my dryer. Does not sound like much, but this dryer has been a big problem for me for ages months! I cannot even imagine how many hours I have spent trying this and that to fix it!
