I am glad to be back in the saddle and posting yet again here on Hive. Seems that I have been on the perpetual hamster wheel, albeit happily so, here of late. My life consists of driving to work, working, eating in order to get energy to work and then sleeping to be able to work again the next day lol. Basically I know most of you are well familiar with the perpetual restraints of free time, hence the struggle is indeed real! I intend to share some tree pics, but even they have aged a week or more as I have been meaning to sit down and put out this post.
Most of all of the small branches and such have been dealt with. All of the logs have been dragged up to the top of the hill to be cut into manageable lengths. This should take a couple of weeks, then the final act will be to deal with the huge root balls!
A Pink Dogwood! I love them! Legend has it that Jesus was crucified on a Dogwood. That is why they have a four leaf cross leaf. In the center there is a ring that reminds me of the ring of thorns.
