It’s Been a While
{From Graduation to My First Paycheck and a Well Deserved Vacation }☀️💛

It’s been a while since we last talked, hasn’t it? 🙈 If I’m being completely honest, I feel like the last few months have gone by so quickly that I’m still wondering where all the time went. One moment I was studying for my final exams and wondering if I was even going to survive all the stress, and the next thing I know, I’m working, getting my first paycheck, and thinking about where I should go on vacation. 😂

So I thought it was finally time to tell you everything that has been going on over the past few months. July, August, and September have been pretty eventful for me from a huge personal achievement, weddings, and birthdays to the seaside, starting a new job, and of course… my first paycheck! 💸

•JULY
The Month I Could Finally Breathe 🎓

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I was still in school and preparing for my final exams.
Well… those exams caused me quite a lot of stress. 😅

I think everyone who has already gone through them can agree that it’s a time when your head is constantly filled with a thousand questions:
What if I don’t pass?
What if I didn’t study enough?
What if they ask exactly what I didn’t learn?

But in the end, all my hard work paid off.

I GRADUATED! 🎉🎓

And honestly? The feeling was amazing. After all those hours of studying, stress, nervousness, and those moments when I wanted to put everything off for another week,
I could finally say:
It’s over.

I’m currently doing my internship at a health center, and so far I can honestly say that it’s great. 😊
Every day I learn something new, meet new people, and most importantly, I feel like I’ve taken a big step forward.

After finishing school, it’s quite interesting to suddenly move from classrooms and studying into the real working world.

But July wasn’t all about work and responsibilities.

My partner and I were also invited to a wedding. 💍❤️ And let me tell you, the heat was definitely… something else. 😂 But despite the high temperatures, we had such a lovely time. Great company, good music, and a beautiful atmosphere made the whole day really special.

I always enjoy events like this because you get to completely switch off for a few hours, forget about everyday worries, and simply enjoy the moment.

We also celebrated Rajko’s 30th birthday. 🎂

Thirty!

Rajko says he feels old now. 😂 But personally, I don’t think 30 is old at all maybe you’re just a little more experienced… and maybe your back hurts a little more in the morning. 😂

Either way, we had a lovely time celebrating his birthday, and it was definitely a day to remember.

•AUGUST
The Sea, Rovinj and a New Beginning 🌊☀️

August was much more summer and seaside oriented.

My partner, my brother, his girlfriend, and I spent some time together in Rovinj, Croatia.

And if you’ve never visited Rovinj, it’s honestly hard to describe it in just a few words.

Rovinj is one of those places that feels like you’ve stepped straight into a postcard. 🥰 Narrow stone streets, colorful little houses, beautiful views of the sea, cozy little cafés, ice cream shops, and that special summer feeling you can only really get by the coast.

What I love most about Rovinj is that it’s not just a place where you go to the beach and then return to your accommodation.

You can walk around the old town, explore the little streets, stop for a coffee or an ice cream, admire the sea, and simply enjoy the atmosphere.

And of course, it was even better because we were all together. ❤️

Whenever you go on vacation with several people, there’s always going to be that one moment when nobody can agree on where to go, when to eat, or who left their towel somewhere. 😂 But honestly, those are usually the moments you end up remembering and laughing about the most.

August also brought another big change for me I started working.

After finishing school and completing my internship, this felt like another new chapter in my life. A little different, with more responsibilities, a new routine, and of course that feeling of:
Okay, I’m officially an adult now. 😂

Although, to be honest, I still sometimes feel like a child who would happily sleep until 10 a.m.

•SEPTEMBER
My Month ❤️🎂💸

And then came September.

My month.

Why?

Because it’s my birthday! 🎂🥳

But this September is even more special because I also received my first paycheck! 💸

There’s something really special about getting your first paycheck. It’s not only about the amount of money in your bank account, but about knowing that it’s the result of your own work.

You showed up, worked hard, learned new things, took responsibility, and at the end of the month you received something you earned yourself.

Of course, I already had a few ideas about where the money could go. 😂 But maybe we shouldn’t talk about that because my saving strategy lasted approximately five minutes.

September is basically a combination of everything I love my birthday, new chapters in my life, my first paycheck, and now… vacation! 🌴☀️

And honestly? After everything that has happened over the last few months, I really need it.

Right now, I just want some peace and quiet, good food, lots of laughter, and as little thinking about responsibilities as possible.

A little break to recharge my batteries and get ready for everything that’s still ahead.

When I look back at these past three months, it feels like so much has happened.

From the stress of my final exams to the moment when I could proudly say that I had graduated. From my internship to starting my first job. From a beautiful wedding and Rajko’s 30th birthday to our amazing time in Rovinj.

And now there’s my first paycheck, my birthday, and a well deserved vacation.

Life really is funny sometimes. One minute you feel like you have absolutely no idea what you’re doing, and then you look back and realize that you’ve actually come a pretty long way. ❤️

So… that’s my little update from the past few months.

I hope you enjoyed reading it and that you had fun following along. 🥰

Thank you for still being here, even when I disappear for a little while and don’t post anything.
I promise I’ll try to be better and let you into my life a little more often.
Until next time, take care of yourselves, enjoy the little things, and don’t forget to make time for yourself too.

As for me, I’m off to enjoy SEPTEMBER my month, my first paycheck, and my vacation! 😂❤️☀️

See you soon! 💕
