When you look up and see
What staying at the top gives,
The honour and prestige and all,
You just might wanna be,
That person that never gives up.
When you look at the cost,
The profit and the loss,
What life looks like from below,
Compared to what life looks at the top,
You might wanna be that person that never gives up.
The ball is in your court, the court is yours,
You are your own attorney and prosecutor,
You are the best judge and you have the best judgement in you,
You make the judgement that befits you most,
But you might just wanna be that person that never gives up.
You have a crowned seat at the top,
The table that's higher than all the challenges
You've been through has been set before you,
You have been comforted from past failures and struggles,
Let's see how you're gonna be the one that gives up.
Even though there are more tasks ahead,
But the better days are just right ahead too,
You will get less of your usual hurtful stories
And start to tell of your victory and success,
When you become that one person that never gives up.
Thank you for your time.
My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.
Still me,
My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
