Times ago I had a long list,
Full of my needs and
I couldn't afford even the least of them all.
Anxiety knocked my heart out, my heart,
Like a bass sound
Beats in a deep rhythm.
Times ago, I felt helpless,
Deeply sinking in my needs,
I thought I wouldn't survive,
I thought I'd drown,
I saw no help coming forth,
I felt my voice was not been heard,
Around all of these, I couldn't wrap my head.
Right now, I look back at those times
And wondered how my needs were met,
I look back at those times
And still can't wrap my head
Around how I have all I have needed,
I didn't do anything extra,
I just casted my burdens upon Him.
Anxiety taught me that
She's just a burden
That won't free anyone whose heart is submitted to her.
Anxiety taught me that
She has a strong grip
But I can be free when I trust God.
Anxiety taught me that,
She does nothing but worsen situations.
Faith taught me to trust always,
Not dividing my trust,
Neither relying on vain promises,
Anxiety taught me that
Perfect trust, thrusts not!
Thank you for your time.
My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.
Still me,
My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
