There is no one with an exception...we have all been created to make an impact...to have a significance...to have a value to add...before we leave this earth. There is no one without a purpose.
There are things you can do on your own and there are things you would need the help of others to accomplish... You need a group of like-minded people to accomplish what God has placed in your heart.
Everyone wants to stand out on their own. Everyone wants to be a lone ranger and take all the glory for themselves and be the center of attention...most people are fuelled by their own desires rather than what's better for everyone. We sometimes live for ourselves...but the more we are getting close to what God wants us to be, we would always need more people to help us accomplish those goals. Being independent is good but you can't ignore the importance of working with others. A lot of people feel accomplished but they are sad... As Christians, we are better together as a community.
The concept of a community is each part...even though it's little...have it's part to play and without one body part for example, the whole body suffers for it. We all need one another...no one can make it out here all alone. We always need people to walk and work with us.
We all need support. The Bible says one will chase a hundred and two would put ten thousand to flight. We need one another for various reasons. Together we can achieve more...together we can go far and see far. We all have varying strength and views and when combined, it can be a strong force to achieve things only one person cannot ordinarily achieve.
If you are with someone or a group of people that doesn't align with your values or goals, that is not a community but a crowd. You should be better for it than when you met them and also be able to add value as well. If you are sinking deeper than usual...that's a reality check to understand those you have surrounded yourself with.
We all have our blind spot...and that's the whole essence of having someone to watch our back and provide another eye to another perspective. We need someone to fight for us...when we are there and when we are not... We need someone who will stand in gap and help when the chips are down...in as much as we need people like that around us, we also need to be that person for others. You need someone to bring you back in line when you are drifting off...
Having your own community of people is the answer to defeat, depression and also loneliness. When you have that support, it's hard to feel down or defeated. There would be synergy... Ecclesiastes 4:10...
We all need people to be with us in various seasons of our lives. There would be good times and bad times but if there is no one to share these with, it can either be easy or hard. Success being celebrated alone can be lonely and going through trying times alone would make things harder and difficult than it is.
