Hello friends,
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
Title: Belgrade fortress walk
During my last visit to Belgrade, I took a walk through Kalemegdan, and on that occasion, I took a few photos.
From the position of the old watchtower, the new Belgrade with its skyscrapers can be seen, which with its short-liveness and height contradicts the old part of the city.
Stairs can be used to descend to the lower part of the complex and approach the river. Along the entire bank of the river, there is a promenade.
From the trail, you can see fortress walls and the monument 'the Victor'.
After passing through the tunnel, you come to the lower part of the complex and a large park. In the middle of the park is the Gate of Charles VI.
View of Belgrade waterfront, residential and commercial complex on the river bank.
The exit to the street is located after passing through the tunnel.
