PREPARING THE CRYSTAL GENERATION FOR THE FUTURE
But when it comes to my son and seeing that he is so small and innocent of being able to achieve that goal, is when I realized that the result of today's young people are the limit that parents put in the hands of them. As the days went by, Marbe (my wife) and I prepared my son for what would be his first big project. Every day that he practiced, I could see how he was able to develop each activity without the need of having any technological device that could help him to carry out the activity, he only needed a glass of water, a pencil, oil and alcohol to develop his experiment.
That great day came when my little boy, only 4 years old, looked at him and did not see any fear in him, only the desire to show his great teachers and friends everything he had learned throughout that week. Mom and Dad had to accompany him to demonstrate what they had learned scientifically. I realized that we as parents were more afraid to do those demonstrations than the children themselves. Each family did demonstration after demonstration until it was our turn. My big Moi dressed up as a scientist and began the adventure along with mom and dad by doing that experiment that consisted of demonstrating the refraction of light, in detail If we dip one end of a pencil or some other object in water at an angle to the surface, the submerged part appears bent. Its image shifts because the light coming from the underwater part of the object changes direction when it comes out of the water and repeated itself when we add oil and then alcohol.
The closing of the project was a great success and the "Maes" as the children call them, were very proud of having achieved the objectives and from that moment on my wife and I realized how we should be educating the children and what they should be taught in order to achieve a promising future. It is true that we must adapt to technology, but not let it be an indispensable tool for their personal development. We saw how in the activity as parents they should have large cell phones with a wide range of technology to be able to develop such simple experiments.
We also think that we should awaken qualities in the education of our children such as patience, tolerance, generosity, courage, integrity, non-violence, responsibility, affection, among others. Education at a young age does not seem to have limits, it is where we awaken all the virtues that we have as human beings to be able to walk throughout our lives. It is our responsibility as parents, the success or failure of our children; with this first level of education of my son I realized how important and how essential it is to involve respect for other people, this leads them to have a harmonious space although it is difficult in children of that age but not impossible.
Talking about education and future generations is such a broad topic that would take us hours, even days to develop, I simply want with these small lines to express what was the first project of my son, where I realized that the limit, education in values and their development is in our hands and that we just have to leave the fears and help them to develop their potential.

PREPARANDO A LA GENERACION DE CRISTAL PARA EL FUTURO
Saludos amigos, hoy quiero compartir sobre la experiencia como padres con respecto al primer proyecto de aprendizaje de mi hijo, pues le comento, me llamaron a la Escuela de mi hijo para informarme de la actividad que debía presentar la siguiente semana que se titulaba “SOY CIENTIFICO”.
Al principio mi esposa y yo pensamos “ Es una actividad muy avanzada para un niño de 4 años”, nos invadió aquel temor de padres primerizos; yo como docente soy el menos que debe pensar eso, por las grandes experiencias que he tenido a lo largo de estos 18 años de profesión.
Pero al tratarse de mi hijo y ver que es tan pequeño e inocente de poder lograr ese objetivo, es cuando me di cuenta que el resultado de los jóvenes de hoy son el límite que los padres ponen en las manos de ellos. Con el pasar de los días Marbe (mi esposa) y yo preparábamos a mi hijo para aquel que sería su primer gran proyecto. Cada día que practicaba veía que gran desenvolvimiento tenia para desarrollar cada actividad, sin necesidad de tener a un lado algún artefacto tecnológico que lo pudiera ayudar a realizar dicha actividad, solo bastaba un vaso de agua, un lápiz, aceite y alcohol para desarrollar su experimento.
Llego aquel gran día que mi niño con tan solo 4 años, lo miraba y no veía en él miedo alguno, solo ganas de demostrar a sus grandes maestras y amiguitos todo lo que había aprendido a lo largo de esa semana. Mamá y Papá lo debían acompañar a demostrar lo que científicamente habían aprendido. Me di cuenta que nosotros como padres sentíamos más miedo de hacer aquellas demostraciones que los mismos niños. Cada familia hacia muestra tras muestra hasta que llego nuestro turno. Mi gran Moi se vistió de científico y comenzó la aventura junto a Papá y mamá haciendo aquel experimento que consistía en demostrar la refracción de la luz, al detalle Si sumergimos un extremo de un lápiz o algún otro objeto en agua en ángulo con la superficie, la parte sumergida parece doblada. Su imagen se desplaza porque la luz procedente de la parte submarina del el objeto cambia de dirección cuando sale del agua y se repetía, cuando agregamos aceite y luego el alcohol.
Fue todo un éxito aquel cierre de proyecto y las “Maes” como los niños les llaman muy orgullosas de haber logrado los objetivos y desde ese momento en si nos dimos cuenta mi esposa y yo, como debía ser la educación que impartiríamos y que se debe llevar a los niños para poder lograr un futuro prometedor. Es verdad que debemos adaptarlo a la tecnología, pero no dejarlos que esta sea una herramienta indispensable para su desarrollo personal. Vimos como en l a actividad como padres debían tener grandes celulares con una gran gama tecnológica para poder desarrollar experimentos tan sencillos.
Pensamos además que debemos despertar cualidades en la educación de nuestros hijos como la paciencia, la tolerancia, la generosidad, el coraje, la integridad, la no violencia, la responsabilidad, el afecto entre otros. La educación a corta edad no parece tener límites, es donde despertamos todas las virtudes que tenemos como seres humanos para poder caminar a lo largo de nuestras vidas. Es responsabilidad de nosotros como padres, el éxito o el fracaso de nuestros hijos; con este primer nivel de educación de mi hijo me di cuenta lo importante y lo primordial que es involucrar el respeto por las demás personas, esto los conlleva a tener un espacio en armonía aunque es difícil en los niños de esa edad mas no imposible.
Hablar de la educación y las futuras generaciones es un tema tan amplio que nos llevaría horas, incluso días para desarrollar, simplemente quiero con estas pequeñas líneas expresar lo que fue el primer proyecto de mi hijo, donde me di cuenta que el límite, la educación en valores y su desarrollo está en nuestras manos y que solo debemos dejar los miedos y ayudarlos a desarrollar su potencial.
