Happy new week to every member of this great Community, a shout out to all the moderators for their good works.
My love for sad songs cannot be over emphasized, since I find it very hard to get close to people I just enjoy my company by listening to sad songs, I just can't explain how sad songs help me but I just know it keeps me going, helps me stay more focused.
Some of these songs brings back some memories and most times break me, it makes me wish I could go back in time and spend just a minute or two with some persons but since going back in time is not possible I just reminisce on the memories shared with those persons while listening to these songs.
Music I would say is a food to the soul as it inspires us, feeds the soul and sometimes break the soul. Music can out you in a mood you never imagined, it kind of connects us to another realm.
I closed early from work today and was opportuned to stream some songs today, I streamed more of Dax's songs and it pushed me into writing this post, below I will be sharing three of Dax songs and I hope you will like them too:
This is one of the songs that made me like the Canadian artist tho Nigerian and goes with the name Daniel Nwosu Jr.
Each time you hear someone say his/her heart hurts then automatically someone they must have put as a priority must have hurt them. A hurting heart is what you get each time you love someone who does not love you back in return, in the song the artist talks about how him and his lover had to go separate ways after she cheated on him.
I can actually relate to the context of this song, despite forgiving her for cheating the first time she still pressed further to do it again. That moment Someone you want to keep for ever is only bent on manipulating you and playing games with you.
Sometimes we all need a break from all the emotional damages we suffer, in this song the artist talks about how he prays for the pain he feels to go away. I just wonder how someone claims to love you but still plays games with you.
We all wish to live in perfect harmony with those we love but their lack of loyalty made the reverse the case. After we suffer emotional damages we tend to feel like we are choking and we just feel like a break from everything is the only way out.
The rate of racism escalated and the artist used his voice and talent to perfectly explain to everyone why we should let go of racism and accept one another and live as one, Nobody is born racist because racism is something we just learn.
In his song he said the only way we would ever see peace on earth is if racism is eliminated and everyone is treated equally. I learnt a lot from this particular song, we are not born racism it is something deep-rooted in our brains while growing up.
Music is for sure my source of inspiration, I have come to realize that we learn a lot from the type of music we listen to.
