Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. One of my friends will say that going from nothing to something, you see something first. One thing about progress is that it does not happen overnight; it requires weeks, sometimes months, and sometimes even years for you to see results, but the human mind operates in a manner such that only results bring us the motivation to keep going, and if the result we want to see takes time to show itself, then one finds themselves losing the zeal and the urge to keep going. I bet I am not the only one who, when things don't go as planned, tends not to want to continue again, and then we just force ourselves to show up; if not, we'd just give up and let things be.

Nothing kills the zeal like when things don't go as planned; at that point your motivation does down, you just don't want to try again, and then there is that voice that encourages you to just sit there, don't try again, and then it tells you that after all, after so many months of trying, it did not work out well, so what makes you think doing it again will change anything? But then that is the voice that wants things to stay the same for you, that is the voice that wants to keep you down and doesn't want your growth, and if you pay attention to that voice and follow its instructions, then you will have problems.

Consistency means showing up daily; whether you see big results or small results or no results at all, you still show up. Over the years I have been able to understand that success does not happen overnight; rather, success comes in bits, but little by little until it becomes something really big and announces itself. But if at some point you agree with that voice and agree to stop showing up, then everything dies down, and what was meant to be will never be, and dreams stay dreams when you are not consistent.

Consistency is showing up energetic, showing up tired, and showing up broken. Consistency is all about showing up no matter what, no excuses. It is very okay to take a break, but giving up is not an option. Take a break and get back to work. Consistency is easier said than done; with just words you can be consistent all your life, but the word "consistency" is an action word; it is one that requires action.
