I welcome you to my blog. Over the years, one thing I have come to realize is that we cannot bro life alone; we need friends, we need family, and we need people to give us that push we need to reach the height we dream of. You can claim you want to do life alone or you did it all alone, but it is not so; at some point you had people help you, whether friends, family, or even strangers. No one did it all by themselves like we always claim. Even if we are so comfortable and don't need friends to offer us help, we need them for companionship.
You feel different with friends around; you feel more alive, and you are a lot livelier with friends than you even are with some family members. When you have the right people as friends, they bring out a spark in you that even you did not know was in there. Friends have a way of influencing you more than even family. If you have friends that want to build themselves or friends that work hard, you find yourself doing the same. If you have friends that are involved in anything illegal and have made it a habit, it is only a matter of time before you find yourself involved in it, and little by little you are fully involved in it.
The reason why friends influence you greatly is because you spend time together; you guys are always together, you see them do what they do, and like they say, birds of the same feather flock together. Before you know it, you will be involved in what they do if you really want your friendship to be strong. Friendship with people who are not in the same line with you or have the same mentality as you is not always that deep; for friendship to be deep, there must be something in common between the parties involved. When there is nothing in common, the friendship does not last.
So will I like to be friends with a robot that has every characteristic of a human being? I don't think so; a robot will always have manufacturers in which they will have access to everything the robot sees and knows, and there will always be things I want to keep between us, but that is not possible as the manufacturers will always have access to the memory of their product. If I can be friends with a robot, it will not be that deep; I will only let the robot know the things I want the general public to know and nothing more. Aside from that, I don't think I even want a friend I cannot share things with.
