Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. Nobody is perfect in the world that we live in; anyone who claims they are 100% perfect is only deceiving themselves because we humans are not created or made to be perfect. We all make mistakes; it is bound to happen. We cannot escape making mistakes, but what matters and what vindicates or condemns is after making those mistakes how we respond to realising that we have made a mistake. Every individual has a way they respond to mistakes, and how we respond to these mistakes matters a lot and determines if we will be making the same mistake again or not.

We have individuals who, once they make a mistake, are quick to admit it, apologise when and where necessary and work towards never making that same mistake again. People like these are the real definition of once bitten, twice shy, as they tend to do everything possible to make sure that the mistake they make in the past is not the type of mistake they make again. They learn from it, take the lesson the mistake has to offer and work towards improvement. People who behave and live like this have more people in their lives because it is a lot easier to deal with people who admit their mistakes and take responsibility than those who make excuses as to why things turned the way they did.

We have those who are so full of themselves and believe they are the best, ever making any mistake, and when they do make mistakes, they either make up an excuse and avoid being accountable or also try to pass the blame around, and dealing with individuals like this is very toxic. It is not something anyone can deal with, like it is nothing, especially if you are the type who believes that every adult should be able to take responsibility and be accountable for their every action, but sadly we still have those who would rather make mountains of mere hills and make sure that every conversation with them is unnecessarily long.

Taking responsibility and being accountable does not just make your life stress-free; the other takes away your peace and puts you in more trouble because of a problem that is a single story. Apologies and taking responsibility – you start arguing, looking for excuses to cover up your mistakes and who to pass the blame to.

People should not be judged for their past mistakes; give them another chance to prove that it was actually a mistake, and this is for those who take responsibility, while those who lack accountability, I think, should be judged for their mistakes because the fact that they don't want to take account of and own up to their mistakes means they will be doing it again and over and over again. Not being judged by our mistakes for me depends on the category you fall in.
