Hello everyone,
Welcome to my blog.
One thing I've come to understand is that, people are bound to make mistakes, I believe that we all have made misakes we're not proud of at some points in our lives, hence, the saying, "No one is above mistake". Note that, I am not saying that mistakes are something we should be Proud of. But the big question is; should people's mistakes define them? Or use it be against them? My answer is NO.
There are so many reasons people make mistakes, some because they're ignorant, hurt, depressed or confused.
I understand that there are some people who blames others for their mistakes and will never accept that they can make mistakes. In this case, it's more than just a mistake, it says a lot about their character, and their inability to own their mistakes.
But when people realize their mistakes and be accountable for it, I think it is not in our place to remind them of the mistakes or make them feel bad or worse about it.
In conclusion; Mistakes should not define us, we can always learn from it, inasmuch as some mistakes are bigger than the other, some easy to correct while some are difficult and make take longer to correct.
The first step to correcting our Mistakes and making everything right is recognizing that we have actually made a mistake, and taking responsibility of our actions without looking for who to blame. This takes courage and determination.
Whatever may be the nature of the mistake, we can always drop our ego and be humble enough to address it and also learn from it. It's true that we may not be able to excape the consequences of our actions and decisions, but we can also choose to learn from it and not live by it.
This is my response to the smpw90e2 prompt.
