Over the years, there have been a lot of changes in the mode of trading, marketing and financing. Different stories or histories have been heard about the uses of some valuable materials as a means of payment for goods or means of trading generally.
From the basis, it is known that the mode of trading is by act "TRADE BY BARTER" where different people exchange what they have with each other to get what they want and suit then. As the case may be then, there would definitely be inequality in trading system (that is, trade by barter) but with the level of civilization and maturity, there would certainly be contentment and humble acceptance.
There may be different ways of tracing Money Evolutionary Trend, that is, how money is being changed time to time and being replaced by another thing. But as far as I know, the basis of Money Evolutionary Trend started with "cowries",it is well known across African countries especially West Africa. It is used as the means of payment for goods and services.
Life is dynamic; so do people. After much years spending cowries, there came mints and notes (coins and paper money respectively). The advent of coins and notes having different ranges and values appear to be a massive development and achievement (Civilization for real).

Today's world, notes is generally what people are spending but with the mixture of cryptocurrencies. In other words, people are still using paper money (notes) as a means of trading, but the awareness of cryptocurrencies is obvious.

In the mean time, there would be eradication of notes which would be replaced with cryptocurrencies. The time will definitely tell.
Some countries have adopted cryptocurrency as a means of payment , also a large number of countries are planning to adopt cashless policy where Debit cards would be used for daily transactions. Here come in cryptocurrencies; on the long run, cryptocurrency would dominate and people with the idea of cryptocurrencies won't just be bragged with their crypto knowledge but be in the high rank class in the society as a result of their long time investment on cryptocurrency; bitcoin and steem among others.

But would cryptocurrency be the last trend of money to trade with?
If there would be another means of payment, what would it be and look like?
It might sounds rhetorical but the bitter truth is that there might be another thing to trade with in the future because no one knows that there would be coins or notes, to talk of cryptocurrencies.
