WIDOWS, MATURED SINGLES AND DIVORCED: Part 1:
"And the twelve were with him, and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities- Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who PROVIDED FOR HIM FROM THEIR SUBSTANCE".
A woman can give you peace from her substance and she can also give you a serous war from the same source. It all depends on the way you treat her.
I have great respect for these three and each time I approach their issue, a holy anger rises up within me because of the challenges they face and nobody really cares.
My mum was a widow for 30 years; 1978 to 2008 before she passed on and I knew what she went through in the hands of economy, religion, tradition and family.
At the age of 9 shortly my father died, the family handed over my mum to my uncle. He would take the little money she kept. I saw him beat her up one day. Let me not speak further on my Mum" s trauma before she escaped for her life with my siblings.
These days, we have more widows, matured singles and divorced than the rest in our societies. The few married women who are lucky or somehow surviving in between see these ladies as their enemies or as 2nd class citizens.
Concerning my late Mum, her case would have not been that tough if she had a rich parent. Truth be told, there is a huge difference between widows who have rich and influential parents who also has broad chested brothers rather than the widows with poor parents. In-laws behave themselves when they see a well defended widow.
MY ADVICE:
Never feel sorry for yourself if fate kept you here or brought you here. Brace up and fight for your own space. Think big and live large.
Love God and love people still. Love is maturity at full degree. Never take rejection personal. You didn't kill your husband. You can't marry yourself. Life is good.
Forgive yourself when you remember your own faults that made the marriage to crash.
Never be revenge driven. Be purpose driven. Shut the mouth of your adversaries with greater results.
Decide to birth brainchildren. Sometimes the brainchildren can preserve your posterity above your biological children.
Move on and stop reporting your case to who; all they can do is to add salt into injuries by taking undue advantage of you.
STOP GOING TO PRAYER MOUNTAINS AND PROPHETS. Many of you would have enjoyed better life if you had not gone to those who added to your problems and taking advantage of your vulnerability.
