Hello everyone!

This is a compilation post that will serve as a summary and status of the onboarding program. For those who are late to the party, OCD's onboarding program aims to bring more users to Hive and retain those users through the curation of posts submitted by the onboarders.

Anyone who's active in Hive is invited to apply as an OCD onboarder. Please see the details of the application process at the end of this post.

HI hive community! I’m Kian, (and yes, I am a girl). I am currently a 4th year BS Chemistry student from Sto.Domingo, a small town in Albay Bicol.

Hi mga ka HIVE, I’m @karya0615, born and raised in the beautiful province of Leyte and a proud Waray-waray. I am from the so called “sleeping municipality of Leyte (District 1)” Sta Fe, the natives are called Stafehon and I am proud to be one. As a growing adult I come to realize that as we grow we humans want to be more connected to our roots as to why I am mentioning this is because I’ll share a little about our humble municipality.

I'm Hiep, it's a common boy name in Vietnam, but no, I'm a petite and lovely girl. Every time I introduce my name, I am often asked a few times because people think they misheard, which makes me a bit shy. But I'm proud of it. This is the name given by my grandfather, Hiep in the word Hiep Nghia means someone who does good deeds to help people.

Hello Hiveworld! This is Era, yes Era, which literally means a very long span of geologic time. And please call me Era because I have no other names aside from that.

Hello guys! My name is Jezevyl but my family and my close friends call me Darling. Yes, it’s an endearment to some lovers but who cares, my parents loved to call me that. I was born and raised in Cebu and I am a proud Mandauehanon. I have four siblings but it’s only me who inherited my mother’s talent and that is dancing. I was once a member of the Cebu Capitol Dance Troupe and it gave me the opportunity to go to other places may it be local or international just to perform. I really loved dancing but I had to take a pause because I need to take care of my one-year-old baby. I have a full time job as Information Systems Analyst in the government and at the same time I worked as a part-time instructor in a College institution. I have always been goal-getter and with that my parents were so proud of me to graduate Valedictorian in a public school and Cumlaude in a University with the course Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Becoming a teacher was really my ambition but for some reasons I wasn’t able to take the course. Hence, I enrolled myself to take master’s degree in Business Administration and made me now an IT instructor for 12 years.

Please take note that the stats do not reflect the current state of each onboarders as of this time because we are still catching up with this compilation post. The stats will be updated in each compilation post until it becomes up to date with the onboarding initiative.

OCD's onboarding program is conceptualized to be a powerful mechanism in attracting and retaining new content creators. Since incentives are given to active onboarders, it could be a nice income generation for those who wanted to focus more in inviting new users to Hive. If you want to be an onboarder, join us in OCD's Discord Server and write your application in #onboarder-application channel. Your application must contain the following:

Once you've applied, there will be a vetting process. We will check your on-chain activity to make sure that you can be trusted. Once you're in, you have the capacity to make an invite link using OCD's account creation token, invite anyone you think is a good addition to Hive with a quick and no SMS required account creation, nominate the posts of your invites through a special channel for curation, and get beneficiary rewards both from the users you've invited, posts like these and more benefits in the future!

Be warned that you are responsible for your invites. Meaning, their activity reflects on how you mentor them. Any suspicious activity of your invite can be a ground for your expulsion in the program. Make sure that before they start posting in Hive, you already oriented them on the activities to avoid such as plagiarism.
