OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 378th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Stopping To Smell The Flowers

My car died on me. The gear is stuck in P, and all I can do now is wait for the mechanic to come and take a look.

That left me with using either Dad's or Hubs' car to fetch Son from school.

WITH LOVE AND PERSEVERANCE EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE

There were many things we had to remodel, we had to change almost everything we had to update because that store, who at the time was so prosperous, but each of the existing merchandise there was already a little outdated to call it somehow.

[ENG | SPN] Carta Vacía - Tres poemas sin nombrar | Empty Letter - Three unnamed poems

I see nothing when I look in the mirror,

I only see your shadow when I look to the side,
I turn my eyes to the ceiling I wonder then
What am I doing? Why?

[SPN-ENG] Entrada a Gota PARTE III (VIDEO) | Belay Entry PART III (VIDEO)

Hello dear fellow hivers, it is a pleasure again to share with you my art, in previous posts I have mentioned such a "Belay Entry" and different ways to make it. In the following video I show you a way to make a belay, in a more advanced way. Of course there are simpler ways to make it, even starting from a simple standing knot on one silk, and using your hands to make the belay on the other silk that is free.

How I made the song and music video, "fade"

I wanted to make a track that was very meditative - in which the listener could zone out and feel at peace. I also wanted to incorporate a lot of different sounds and instruments. An instrument that I cherish is the accordion I inherited from my papa. I have fond memories of going camping in the Adirondack mountains (upstate New York, USA) and hearing him play. The instrument laid dormant for over 20 years. When I started producing music, I gathered unused instruments from families and friends and tried to breathe new life into them. Though I play the accordion poorly, it makes me really happy and nostalgic that I can incorporate it into my music (albeit with a lot of effects!).

Pregunta de la semana 9.3 "¿Has sido testigo de un milagro? Por favor, comparte tu historia..."//Question Of The Week 9.3 "Have you ever witnessed a miracle? Please share your story..."

Miracles are events that cannot be understood through the scientific method because they are the result of a supernatural phenomenon. However, he points out that there are events that cannot be proven through natural laws, but that have not been produced by a supernatural agent either.

Getting to know the Vaporub plant [Eng - Esp]

Greetings to all my #Hive people and especially to The Herval Hive community. After a long time I am back and I want to share with all of you a little bit of a plant known as vaporub. The scientific name given to this plant is plectranthus hadiensis and I invite you to join me to know this wonderful plant that caught my attention for its pleasant smell.

My Colorful Room~!!! Installed Some LED Lights + Unboxing... <3 <3 <3

My room transformation is still far from over. I have always wanted to install some LED lights in my room and I did mention that I ordered some when I posted about my room makeover last time. Well, I have unboxed and installed it several days back, but as I've said in my last blog, I got busy... and also sick. T_T

Wednesday Walk: A walk to the Portage Hike & Bike Trail .

The walk from my house to this segment of the trail normally takes 20 minutes; however, due to the large amount of snow that had fallen, the roads and sidewalks were all covered, so I had to walk slowly, and the walk took me 45 minutes. The houses, the trees, they were all completely covered by the freshly fallen snow. As I passed by these streets, I could smell the smoke from the chimneys that warmed those homes.
