Just Enough Time For Bortkiewicz, the Shakers, Near Meadows, Coffee, and a Big Realization
A sunny late afternoon and a work situation offered me some break time before returning to my duties at home, so I had time to pass through the near meadows of Golden Gate Park, which are an amazing sight in late winter light -- not quite spring, but its own thing ...

My First Real Life HIVE Meet Up - Ocean Swim, and Burning the Toast
Poor Caroline and Brad. I made them go swimming in cold waters in Victoria. They're Queenslanders. Their version of cold is opening up the fridge or putting on a long sleeved t-shirt. But to their credit, they were up for it. I mean, why not go swimming with someone you've only met in real life five minutes ago?

The first patient arrived with a minor accident. Nothing serious, but enough to disrupt the night’s routine. While providing initial care, I noticed his nervousness. It wasn’t fear of physical pain, but of the hospital’s silence at night. I spoke calmly, explaining every step. Medicine is not only exercised with steady hands; it is also exercised with voice, gaze, and presence.

[ESP-ENG] 👩🏼🎓✨ Graduation Week | Day 2 & 3: Mass and Signing of Degree Certificates 🥰💖
Hello Hello Community! ✨, It has already been a month since the events I am going to tell you about today, but even though all this time has passed, I personally still haven't fully processed them, because the excitement is still the same and it seems incredible to me that all this has finally happened. In my previous post, you accompanied me as I got ready to go to Mass, so this time I will tell you everything that happened that day (both the good and the bad), and I will also talk about the signing of the certificate, which is accompanied by the rehearsal for the graduation ceremony.

For Open Mic Week 308, I returned to a space that has always felt like home to me — but this time, it came after a very long and much-needed break from the vibes. Stepping back into it wasn’t just about performing again; it was about reconnecting with purpose, passion, and the quiet place where music becomes more than sound. It becomes prayer.

Another suggestion from my son: seeing me researching Mexico and what was happening with the cartels, he recommended these films. While not entirely accurate, they reflect the reality quite well and brutally depict the deaths that occur there. I have relatives in Guanajuato, which kept me engaged. We find ourselves in the border region, known as a lawless area, that stretches between the United States and Mexico, where drug trafficking is pervasive. We follow the specialized American commandos who are fighting against drug smuggling and the countless missing or dead. What the commando teams find inside the walls of a house is overwhelming. The teams also encounter booby traps, losing several members in the search.
Kate (Emily Blunt), a dedicated FBI agent, is recruited by an officer from an elite special forces unit to assist in the escalating war on drugs. The truth is, they need her as an FBI agent present on these operations. She is confused as to why she is being assigned to another specialist group and what her role is there. She doesn't know that she has been assigned to a mission to eradicate a drug cartel responsible for the murders of several members of her team.

A day at a skateboarding event, with friends, dogs, and competitors [Eng/Esp]
To be completely honest, it's been a difficult and stressful few days. I had the misfortune of dropping my phone out of my pocket, cracking the screen a little, and a couple of hours later, my camera lens stopped working, so I needed to take a break and disconnect a little, get out and not be cooped up at home. So I decided to go with some friends to the skatepark where there was going to be an event. They were going to compete, and it's always interesting to watch them, so that's what I want to talk to you about today.

I found myself near the Galerija shopping mall, on the Belgrade waterfront, but I had no desire to stay there. I wasn't even attracted to the crowds in the cafes, where people were sitting like some lizards and basking in the sun.

Second day of the week and wake-up at 6:30am. Last night, I was so tired that I barely read 10 pages before falling asleep around 10pm. Fell asleep instantly. At the same time, on Saturday we were at friends’ place. Went to bed very late. All weekend, we ate badly. Yesterday, we were working. The fatigue was inevitable.
