OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1812th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Hive Openmic Community week #243, cover of "Mercy" by @adyma

Happy new month to all the amazing people of this wonderful community, welcome to the month of December the last month of the Year. It's your girl adyma@adyma and I'm super excited to welcome you all to Hive Openmic week #243. For this week I will be singing a song titled "MERCY" by Moses Bliss.

December marks the celebration of the birth of Jesus, the central figure of Christianity. According to tradition, Jesus was born on December 25th in Bethlehem, a small town in what is now Israel.

The birth of Jesus is celebrated around the world as Christmas, a holiday that honors the birth of the Son of God and the beginning of His life on Earth. Christmas is a time of joy and togetherness, marked by many traditions, such as decorating a Christmas tree, exchanging gifts, and attending church services.

Vibes Web 3 Music Competition Week 25 || A Cover of "What's Love got to do with it" [Eng/Esp]

It talks about confusing the natural phenomenon of opposite attraction to love. I guess she understands so well what it means to love and so projected this song as a way to teach our world what love entails.

A lot of our men and ladies in the world are just living in the euphoria of lust and mere opposite attractions but think they are in love. Love is more than just the attraction we get because of our physical appearances.

Delicioso pastel de piña🍍//Delicious pineapple cake🍍[ESP/ENG]

Here I am again with you to share with you a delicious recipe about a dessert that is very common and traditional as it is a rich pineapple cake that by the way to make it is a challenge since desserts are not my forte, but this time I will prepare it as a gift to my dear husband who had his birthday last Friday.

Ramen Near the Sea/海の近くの醤油とんこつラーメン[ENG/JPN]

On weekends, my family and I usually go shopping for daily necessities and groceries. This time, we had quite a list: a folding umbrella for my child, a new lunch box, some office supplies for me, and more.

We decided to get everything done in one trip, so we drove to a large home improvement store where we could find it all.
The store is a bit far from home, but it’s near a calm, beautiful sea, making it a great location.

More Than a Hike: Walking with Courageous Survivors

Spent the first Sunday of December back on the trail, and this time, it was even more special because of the incredible group of people we met during another Hike for a Cause. Kythe Foundation partnered with DayHike Therapist for one of their heartwarming events. We went on a 5-km slow hike from the Golf Course to Mt. Kan-irag alongside five dedicated staff and volunteers from Kythe and ten brave teens.

Frozen Nature: Part 1 凍りついた自然パート1 [English and Japanese]

The temperature has dropped significantly in recent days, and it snowed last night. I took these photos of frozen nature yesterday, before the snowfall. Today, I’ll share Frozen Nature: Part 1.

I’ve heard that we’re not expecting heavy snow this year, and I really hope that’s true! If so, I would be very happy. I don’t mind the cold during winter since I live in a cold region. When I was young, I loved snow so much. I enjoyed skiing, backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, building snow domes and snowman, playing in the snow, sleeping on snow, walking on it, taking my dog to snowfields, visiting snow festivals, joining snowball fights, and much more back in my home country.

Happy Couple in the City I Love

Havana is the city I love, my city, and I'm happy that it's the destination of choice for couples from all over the world for their vacations, honeymoons, or simply for an incredible adventure. This couple's plan was a little bit of all of that and then some, because it included a long photoshoot, which we had a lot of fun with, even though we were exhausted at the end. We started in Old Havana, on a street that I had not explored before, but which provided some interesting views. From there, we continued to discover new streets and exciting angles until we reached the so-called Malecón, the wall that borders a long stretch of the city's northern coast. Photos here have to be taken at high speed as parking is not allowed. We finished, and as you can see we covered almost the entire city although the description was short, in the Bosque de La Habana, specifically in a rustic bar there and enjoyed a famous piña colada with plenty of rum. Enjoy!

Impossible things? Weekend commitment. Week -234

Today I had many ideas for spending Sunday because the weather is almost perfect: low humidity, plenty of sun, and a spectacular temperature, but, if it weren't for the long electrical paralysis, and the endless home obligations that piled up, I would go camping in a pine forest near my house just to see the cars passing by on the national highway in the most disconnected way possible... luckily, and at least at home I can get involved to enjoy the commitments of weekend of galenkp@galenkp,our host, and from there, life becomes significantly lighter.

The End of The Year's Tutorial and How The Weekend Went By

So, yesterday was the end of the extra lessons I volunteered to take the kids some months ago. The weekend came and I was excited that the lesson for the year would be ending, so I informed the kids about it so they don't start thinking they would continue to come around. When I told them, they were happy about it and at the same time, felt sad but I assured them we would continue next year if I return back from my travelling.
