OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1714th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Saturday night, I would always tell my husband about my Sunday activities. I always told him that tomorrow would be Sunday and Sunday would be church day. He is always in charge of waking me up early since the Catholic mass in our town always starts at 8:30 am.

“Please, forgive us. We won’t do it again!”, those were the words—at least as far as I can remember—what I said when the authorities brought us to the office for questioning. As a timid and quiet kid, it was the first time I had ever gotten myself into trouble, and in that moment, I deeply regretted the choices I made with my friends. The fun I had anticipated quickly turned into the trouble I wished I had avoided.

It was a fine day —the sun was shining brightly and there were no clouds that covered the blue sky. That day was indeed perfect for outdoor activities and for some fun and trouble. After class, my friends invited me for some adventure. I asked them first, “What are you cooking?”, and they shared that they were planning to explore the protected forest area near our school. I was hesitant at first because I knew trespassers were not allowed to that place, but being a stupid kid, my curiosity won over my rationality.

Before specifying what materials I used, I want to tell you that I didn't have some things and I had a little difficulty, like at that time not having my silicone gun, a more comfortable iron to work with, but I still managed it. Now like that, below is the list of materials I used, many of which are in the image but others I had to improvise to make the pencil holders.

Tuesday 09 January 2024. That day I posted on THE MINIMALIST community with the intention of expressing my opinion on conscious observation. But at the same time, I cherished the idea of starting a streak of good quality daily posts as far as my poor brain could take me. I wanted to reach at least a couple of months like that (my optimistic Adrian said: "3 months"). Did I make it? Please let me tell you about my experience.

In the middle of the night I was taken out of the discotheque, almost like a delinquent. The female guard was fierce, she looked at me with contempt and impotence, maybe she wanted to throw a fist at me, but she knew that if she did she would lose her job.

That night I went to that disco with some friends, well with a friend and 2 of her friends. I liked that girl and she knew it, sometimes she would give me encouragement to stay there behind her but she wouldn't give me anything she was hinting at, or maybe her hints were just my ideas.

Good evening to all my friends! How are you? Tonight, I’m excited to share another delicious recipe with you—egg rolls. Good or bad, right or wrong, I think they are two sides of the same coin. We all have our good side and our dark or bad side.

But what is good or bad for one person may be different for another, within normal parameters or maybe not. It is a philosophical subject that gives a lot to talk about. But whether good or bad depends on each person is subjective.

Well, coincidentally, this morning I was shopping for vegetables at my favorite shop. I saw sweet corn, coincidentally the price had dropped a bit. In the past few days, the price of sweet corn has been very expensive in my opinion. Around 10-12 thousand per kg or around 0.63 - 0.75 USD. Well, this morning when I asked the price of sweet corn, it was only around 7 thousand per kg or 0.44 USD. and I bought 1 piece of corn for 2 thousand (0.13). Quite cheap, right?

I have always believed that we have something to learn from each person we meet in life, for better or worse, but there is a reason why those paths cross. Of course, when I was little, it was not something I thought about, but as I grew up, I realized that we learn good things from people that we can start doing or strengthen aspects that we already had, as well as things that we should not do because they go against our principles.

So today I bring you a tutorial in which I will be showing you how to make a wall hanging inspired by one I made earlier. The design is roughly the same: a wall of a house with a window, curtains and flowers around it. To avoid doing the same thing and not recycle content, I changed the window design, the flowers, added new techniques, elements and changed many of the materials. I hope you like it. Let's start...
