OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1289th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Vintage Style Dining at Lazy Cats Cafe, Ubud, Bali

I went to the Lazy Cats Café located at the main street of Ubud, Bali with my clients for dinner. I know it was a popular place, but it never cross my mind that it was a vegetarian place. At first, I looked at the menu for a burger or steak but couldn't find any. My client, looked at me, and said "it's a vegetarian place."

We are living difficult situations worldwide, where the world if you can say so is upside down, with so many events and disasters, which unfortunately are occurring on our planet, and that as normal human beings escapes from our hands mostly to provide that help called economic, or psychological that so many people need today.

Pasta tipo Penne, de Tinta de Calamar con crema de verdeos y tocineta./ESP-ENG]

In this opportunity, my dear guests... I will show you how I prepared a delicious cream to accompany a pasta with squid ink. Its color is of course deep black. This type of pasta is called penne, which means feathers in Italian. That's how we call it in Venezuela. Now I will tell you how I got my hands on this pasta.

STOLEN STORIES - (Historias Robadas) - MONOMAD || ENG-ESP || (7 Pics)

For some time now I have seen an old Dalmatian dog wandering the streets of the village. It is a large dog, looks well cared for and wears a collar, so it must belong to a family. I presume that this dog often runs away from home or has gotten into the habit of wandering the streets during the day. But the truth is that (and this is going to sound weird) this lovely dog can't seem to integrate effectively into any of the "communal packs". So then the other dogs just watch him without being too friendly. I, in my particular world, usually imagine the stray dogs saying to themselves: "That guy looks suspicious, his outfit has too many spots on it" and the like, when they see the friendly Dalmatian dog walk by. :))

Dreem-WOTW S3R1 | Deep diving into my soul [PT/ENG]

For today's post, I'm gonna present to the Hive blockchain two poems written by the deepest part of my soul, with a little surprise in the middle. Both of these poems were quite hard to write but not in a "negative" kind of way. I only mean it took a while to get out, I had to push it a bit to see where the journey took me.

Took a while for the truth to be turned into a reality... I gotta tell you, this month's WOTW theme couldn't be more accurate as for today I have planned a deep dive into my soul.

Hello everyone! Today, in addition to our travel posts, I decided to add some variety to our content with a different concept and a delicious, real summer dish - Tuna Tartare. It's very important for us to know what you think about our food posts, so I'm waiting for your comments! But first, I want to tell you a little bit about how cooking started for me, so let's get started!

“18 de 101” (es/en)

101 years have passed, and of those lustrums, I have been in the radio, directly linked to it, for 18 years. Since I was a child, I used to come home and my stepfather practically "forced" us all to listen to his radio adventure "La Flecha de Cobre", because the volume of the radio was high. I confess that I began to hate the radio because at my 8 years of age it was something that I did not understand, and what I perceived was a subjective noise of incomprehensible plots and sounds, but I did notice the preference it had on the neighbors. Then I learned that I was a listener of something so great that today people talk about it with great fervor in western Cuba.

How Elements Of Nature Shape My Life

I may not grow with a silver spoon but I never complained about my way of living. Sometimes, it is a bit ironic how life goes. I have a lot of questions and even now left unanswered.

Still, I am committed to my purpose and how I wanted to live life in peace and serenity. I greatly believe that it is in this kind of atmosphere where I could breathe fresh air even when I am at my lowest point.

BeerSaturday 320 - Apocalypso (Le Trou du Diable)

As a reminder, as presented at BeerSaturday #318 with La Pitoune lager, the Le Trou du Diable (The devil's hole 😀) brewery was created in 2005 in Shawinigan by André Trudel and Isaac Tremblay, two childhood friends with a passion for beer. In 2017, it was acquired by beer giant Molson Coors. We can no longer speak of a microbrewery...
