OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1248th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

A Fantastic Walk Down Memory Lane in Ahrweiler!

My passion for travelling was at its highest level way back when I was a single lady. Never had I missed the opportunity when it comes to this matter. Well, I was lucky enough that all of my travels (abroad) before were for free. I only prepared pocket money in case I have something to buy but all of my necessary things including souvenirs or pasalubong were being provided by my sponsors. It was such a very great opportunity. To God be the Glory!

Grief stricken Garden - all lies dead in mourning

Everyone in the house is going for therapy or counselling in some form or another. Everyone is struggling one way or the other with all the things that they need to do and I think, being a parent, I have learned to compartmentalize things for the sake of my own sanity and so that I can keep on being a father and an income bringer and care-taker.

Changing the look of my closet doors - ENG/ESP

I hope you are doing well. To continue with the Bob Builder style improvements, I bring you the chapter of: Changing the look of my closet doors. Again I had a conflict with the color they had, BROWN! And as you know, it's not my favorite, I like them lighter and combine them with some dark but to apply them in details.

Review: Tp-Link EC220-G5 (ENG/ESP)

After several months of waiting, we finally got the fiber optic internet service from Vnet in Venezuela. Because months ago we moved to the city of Puerto Ordaz and in my apartment we had no internet and there were no other internet companies, with the exception of CANTV. But I never really thought of opting for CANTV's ABA, because of the bad experience of this specific company's service.

Already on the installation day, the technicians did the fiber cabling work and gave me the recommendation of some routers that work well with this fiber optic. Therefore I had to buy a router and I opted for the Tp-link EC220-G5, a model that was also recommended to me in the store and also because I have been familiar with the Tp-link brand.

A TASTE OF NATURE with FAMILY at Bakhaw Garden Restaurant in Medellin, Cebu

I have lived alone for six years now, ran into people I shouldn't run to, made experiences I soon regretted and I only get home twice or thrice a year during Christmas or Summer vacations or when there is a special occasion since I worked and lived on the opposite side of Cebu which is a few miles away from my parents' house.

#KISS: Who said "expensive"?

There are several popular sayings that play on the theme of cheap and expensive. But the question is: is expensive really expensive? If we compare the outlay of money we will make for a quality product with the one we would make for several products of lesser quality, which would be the higher amount? And speaking of durability, which one would cover your need or desire for a longer period of time? I know! I've already told you that I'm an accountant by profession, and this mathematical thing comes almost naturally to me. That minimalist way of thinking has been a part of me for several years now.

A Budget Friendly Lenovo Chromebook 10e Review

So after selling my mini pc I started to look for portable laptop and tablet deals for using both content creation and consumption purposes. After looking through lots of ads on Facebook marketplace I finally found what I needed . The seller's listing price for the tablet was 70$ and after negotiation he agreed to sell it for 58$. Here's the pictures of my new tablet:

My day as a community garden maintainer #02 / コミュニティガーデンのメンテナーの一日 #02

With the recent consecutive days of rain, nature has been taking over my watering job. I'm a bit concerned about the tomatoes getting direct rain, but thanks for your help, nature!

Today, I bought 150cm stakes at the local home center and installed them at tomato containers. Parallel to staking, I also managed to deal with old leaves and weeds. If they don't seem to carry diseases, I simply spread them on the container as mulch. Long live shortcuts 😊

Karma is a sniper. Sometimes it just takes some time

How many people do you see complaining about hard moments in their lives, especially when tough situations come altogether. The first difficulty comes and they start insulting here and there, cursing things and situations. When the first insults round ends, they start creating sh**ty posts on social medias as if spreading that discomfort and anger to others can make them feel better.

Community: Be Entrepreneur

(ENG/ESP) No business is too small to grow..// Ningún negocio es demasiado pequeño para crecer..

As an entrepreneur, I grew up to develop some kind of thought within my mind that no matter what you venture into the goal of it is that you must be willing to grow and make more profit.. Aside the fact that risk is associated with the what an entrepreneur has to take into consideration, the risk also should be managed not to affect the business but to be able to maximize output..
