OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2nd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Financial Goals and Determinations - Investing discipline and efficient time management.

Recently I came to the realisation that to create a sovereign life it is essential to learn how to manage every aspect of ones life independently. In our modern world most of the jobs in the mainstream market, are designed in such a way that in return for your employment they guarantee you a certain privilege of taking care of certain dimensions of your life. Here in Luxembourg for example working as an independent seems like something that is highly discouraged, partly this is true, becoming an independent means dealing with a lot more bureaucratic hurdles than being employed, but also at the same time it only appears as such, because the benefits you receive from a normal job seem to streamline much of ones responsibilities in the background.

FALAFEL BALLS IN CREAMY CELERY SAUCE SERVED RED BEET MASH

Though you might not have seen any recipes appearing over 2 months, I am still blending, juicing, steaming, cooking, and baking every day. Believe it or not, I have tons of recipes ready to post. I don鈥檛 even know where to start.

Coincidences |ENG-ESP| Casualidades

He walked throughout the house, from room to room, from the living room to his bedroom, from the kitchen to the balcony. He walked slowly, with his eyes fixed on those thoughts that, very close to the ground, marked his path. In his hand he carried a cup of coffee, which had gradually begun to replace the glass of milk and cookies he had been drinking since he was a child.

Weekend Engagement : Sun, Snow, and Bratwursts

With the grill properly heated up, it was then time to throw the brats on the grill. I prefer the indirect method of grilling them, wherein I put them on the "cold side" for 15 minutes or so, then transfer them to the hot side for a minute or two per side to char them up. It's probably not the most "foodie-approved" method (I'm sure my mother in law has a more complex way to grill these), but it works fine and it's delicious.

Monkey-B Reasoning About Life & More (Big Funny Surprise Inside 馃)

My sister talked about her life and many more. While she was talking to the camera she saw a big brown lizard. She is very scared of lizards. She also talked about the plants around the house. My sister is very afraid of animals. I'm afraid of animals too. I really scared of animals that don't have bones.

Wednesday Walk - A Helping Hand

It's Wednesday. It鈥檚 a perfect day for a walk, for #WednesdayWalk. I haven't been able to post anything on this topic of walking for the last two weeks, but I'm here now. With one walk in the small town of Altea.

This Month On The Farm #1 馃尡馃尦

"The land hasn't been used for a very long time, this should be a good soil. It's rich, when you hold it in your hands, the way it sticks together, means that there is a good amount of clay and moisture. You want your soil to dry a little before starting sowing. Plus, I've seen this place freeze in May once, so we should wait for a few weeks before getting serious. It should give us some time to prepare the land."

Labels and Identity

There seems to be a sharp divide between people who hate labels, want no one to use labels, say things like "we're all just human" and "I don't see race" that sound like perfectly pleasant sentiments, and people who spend years figuring out what labels best define them, who love labels, who identify very closely with their labels, and encourage everyone to explore what labels feel right to them. You largely don't hear from people who don't care one way or the other, thought I'm sure those people exist; mostly you hear a lot of words from people who feel very strongly one way or the other about if labels are "good" or "bad."

Earth, The Garden of Eden

I remember when I stumbled around wondering how on earth the world was going to be repaired. I remember feeling overwhelmed in the idea that healing the world was out of reach, yet, having a persistent voice inside me nudging me on with the belief that it was somehow possible.

Natural traditional probiotic drink (Kanji) to welcome the summer!

Summer season is going to start soon in most of the parts of India. Generally, it is considered that summer starts after the festival of Holi. And it is also a tradition to make this probiotic drink with carrot, as the season of carrot ends with winter.
