The reason I was shipped into this government leftover meal of a school was simply that my father couldn't pay for a private center of learning. Since I was born, there exist a cliche to my father's reputation..."I don't have money, what do you want me to do now"...this we, the children all know him for...
My mom always knew that I was kind of made for school. My results, mind really fit the lenient exercise book. Anytime I decide not to go school, my mom knew that my excuse only would be illness. Loving school was not the option but I just felt leaving home to a concise place which was the best possibly thing to do.
My home was not really a good one. Fight, battling from my dad was something I just couldn't content with. Anytime I come from school, I head straight to church. The mid-week service was something perfect for me. Most times I do cry when a song is sang amidst the closing of my eyes. The sister that was ushering it once told me that I should consider pastoring because of the way I was be moved by those heart felt songs but what she doesn't know is that I am just there for the freedom of a time out of my home. My home is not haven. It's an avenue of distraction. Pity and sorrow reside in it .
My mother never finished her schooling. Her mind was never there really... according to what she told us. She was just good on making sales as a petty trader. She is beauty. Sometimes I do wonder how she got married to my father. They are just the version of the beauty and the beast but the difference to this episode is that my dad do think that he quite the catch...hmm, that stink.
My teen years was mixed with no adventures. The only times I do have for any pleasure, was I put in my tiny clothing for Christmas. The smell for Christmas was something I could kill for. I could eat my belly to a stoop. My father would get drunk on the D- day to the main day. To celebrate the wake of Christmas was just only with the aid of a bottle. Christmas gave me an opportunity. An opportunity that the Lord would change my dad and gave me another one.but this wish never seems to come true. My dad is till there. The same attitude, stench, arrogant ranting and vague emptiness of his wallet.
