I got sick, fever and very bad cough started last Wednesday. I tried to get away myself from my son, so that he will not get infected by me, but hmmm...the next day, late at night, he got fever and uncomfortable to sleep. I gave him medicine and patched him the cool fever for babies. I monitored his fever that night, luckily it does not shoot up quickly.

Early morning, I called my usual kids clinic to book an appointment, Thanks God they got one empty slot at 11.30 am. So my hubby and I brought him there and when the doctor examine, she says he has laryngitis or the exact diagnosis for babies is croup. That's really hurt because the larynx was infected by virus that leads to swollen of the larynx. It makes my son refuse to eat as it feels sore whenever he eats. Even his milk he doesn't want to drink.
I'm so worried he will get gastritis. I've bought him many types of food, but he rejected all. Late afternoon, I went out to buy rice from KFC and the whipped potato, he ate the rice only for five spoons and after that spit it out. That potato also the same thing. But, I'm quite happy that he did at least, eat a little, although it is not enough.

Night time I keep on monitoring his fever, I can't really sleep as he keeps on crying as he is not comfortable, so I carry him and let him sleep in my arms. The next morning, he woke up crying out loud, I thought that he will have stomach pain and yes he is, he keeps on stiffening his body. My mom massages his abdomen and in a few seconds, he farted. Thanks God he slowly settles down.
Today, still his fever up and down, and his appetite is not good. I bought him porridge from Mc Donald, fuhhh..at last he can eat a lot. Hopefully tomorrow his appetite will be as usual. I keep in monitoring his fever again till now.
