I have not yet done a figurine holding a doll before so I decided to make one with my air dry clay.
Again, paying tribute to all those beginner crafters out there, I made this as simple/ easy as possible. I restricted myself by using only the simplest tool that you can find in any craft kit.
Here are my favourite tools from sculpey:
I wanted a very round/ cute character so I started with 2 round balls and a toothpick.
Combine and start making the body of the "doll."
Fill in the details.
Since I wanted my character to seem like its holding the doll, I
first made the arms of the main figurine and then, I casually laid the arms of the doll.
Initial looks.
I added leaves cause for some unknown reason, I am obsessed with leaves. I finished the details of the eyes using my pen.
Final look.
