One of the things i've been looking into is ELO ratings for tennis players which is supposed to be one of the more accurate predictors of a tennis game.
If you're not familiar with how it works, basically a difference of 100 ELO points means the better player has a 64% chance to win. 200 point difference implies a 76% difference, a 300 point difference implies an 85% chance and so on and so forth.
Now, that's one side of the equation. The other side is the bookmaker's odds. So if one is to trust the process and not the outcome, then betting when there's a sizable advantage between ELO and the bookmakers odds should yield a favorable result in the long run.
So for today's games in the morning, there's one that stands out. Carreno Busta vs Lloyd Harris - 200 point advantage for Busta which would mean odds of 1.31 are fair while the bookies are offering 1.5.
So some money placed on Busta to win for that ~0.2 differential. Fingers crossed!
