With Aguero going to Barcelona, Man City need a clinical striker. A lot of talk has been on Harry Kane joining them but with negotiations between Man City and Tottenham still going on, the deal might still fall through.
Yesterday's loss against Tottenham highlighted the lack of finishing ability that their current forwards have. Sure, they're an exciting bunch going forward but it counts for nothing if the goal isn't in the back of the net.
So what should City do if they can't get Kane? Who else would be a good fit? I think the best player out there for them is actually Haaland if he's willing to come. He also has his father's connection with City so I don't think he's going to United. Maybe Chelsea.
They could also go with someone like Lewandowski. I think his finishing will suit City really well despite his age.
Not the best start for City given Liverpool, Chelsea United's results but there's no need to panic just yet.
