English teams are almost always overrated by the bookies in my opinion. Maybe there are just more fans of English teams so the money flows to them.
There was a slim chance that Leeds would be able to get anything from their match against Ajax but the bookies had the Ajax odds at 1.70.
That implies a 58.8% chance of Ajax winning. I would have rated them as having at least a 75% chance.
The return leg will be tricky as Ajax have virtually a foot in the next round and they will probably take it easy trying not to concede more than 2 goals. Leeds would also probably want to restore some pride so a Leeds win in the next leg is probably the result to bet on. Let's see what odds we get for it.
