Woot, finally decided to put together a quick post for a series I want to do weekly, #DEVLIFE! (help hold me accountable, friends!) I thought about what I wanted to say and decided to ask a question that's been floating around in my head for a few weeks now.
How do I learn how to build an app people will find value in for HIVE?
I have some limited experience with JS/CSS/HTML (web dev/designer here), and I'm looking to expand my skillset so I can build something "useful" for the HIVE community!
I've been in IT for a long time. I've dabbled in a ton of areas within IT and programming - I consider myself a "jack of all, master of none".
I'm able to sustain myself quite comfortably offering web design (Webflow, WordPress, Magento, some custom sites), and also website optimization/CRO. Pretty much the majority of areas within the digital marketing realm.
As a newbie, what's the best/most newbie-friendly way to learn how to build for the blockchain? I see all of these cool apps out there (my favorite so far has to be DLease, I love investing through it!) and find myself wanting to contribute here more and more. But, I just am not really sure where to start.
Does anyone have any ongoing projects for HIVE that I could contribute to/learn from? I'd love to devote some of my spare time helping build something awesome here :)
