You know when you are much younger life feel so sweet to some extent , because you have nothing to worry about. Your feeding, clothing, shelter and bills are all taken care of. And even at that you might feel that you are always being restricted to do some things and you will feel like growing up immediately so as to have that freedom, but the funny part of it is that freedom is costly but you will not know it on till you have it.
Back then, our school fees, house rent, feeding , clothes were all paid for, but we never really appreciated it, we felt it was just a normal thing. And at time when my parents stoped me from going to some places I felt they were over protective, I never knew the were trying to avoid some negative consequences of my actions. Because as a young one , any action you take, what ever happens, you parents may be the one paying for it, they take responsibility of both your actions and inactions, but we never understood all that.
Fast forward to now that we have all grown, knowing fully well that you will take responsibility for your actions and inactions, nobody will tell you to avoid some things and places. Now a days, if a place is not necessary, we try to avoid it,. if not for safety reasons it will be for the cost of transporting yourself down there.
Back then , we felt life was just all about going to school, graduating , getting a job , buying a car , getting married and starting your family 🤣. The explanation was simple but the reality is something else. But in all we are still pushing.
To this end, cherish every moment and stage of your life because they are important.
