Before the invention of phones and even before the phone gets fully into schools to be used for academic activities, there is a time that there was no phone at least not the way it is today. But people were still schooling and were still doing well . I remember my parents always saying that they use to go to school with just a board and that was even the existence of exercise books. There was nothing like google , chat gpt, cloud or any AI tool, If you wanted to know something or make more research, you asked your teacher, checked a textbook or visit the library.
There was no Whatsapp and any information you wanted sending, was done through letter and every meeting was held physically.
No camera was there to record class activities, but everything were still going smoothly and if you check well , students in those days took time to study a lot and not depending heavily on phone online today's world where the dependency on phone is at its climax and some students are really abusing the phone.
Phone usage is good, but I feel students are really abusing its usage these days, a child doesn't know how to search for books at the library again. Students can no longer sit to think , every little question they run to AI. And some parents are not really helping matters, they can't guide these children on the proper usage of phone.
If you check well some best brains that we have today in different professions started their schooling when there was no phone or when phones were not easily accessible. Yet, despite all these limitations, students learned, passed their exams and became what they are today.
Introduction of phone into the system is good, but we should learn the proper usage is necessary.
