‎At a tender stage of our life , we were fully dependent but as tikes keep going we realize that we have Join the adulthood club without knowing. Adulthood is a stage that you are expected to be independent financially and otherwise. It's a stage that you solve one problem and get two free. Now the question is should parents still be financially responsible for their adult children ?
‎I would say YES and NO.
‎
‎Yes in the sense that, some grown up adult are not well established and not very stable financially, so if they are lucky to come from a background that the parents are wealthy, then there is no harm if the parents still support the children. Now remember I said support and not being fully dependent. So this doesn't give any child the grace to be lazy or not hustling to survive and stand alone just because they have their parents support. I know some people graduate without having a job or a good paying job on time. So it's always difficult for them to be totally independent. Some that were not opportune to go to school still struggle to learn a skill or find something doing to establish themselves, so in this case they need support.
‎And No in the sense that, a child is also supposed to support their parents when they grow. Again, if the parents are also struggling financially , I see no reason why they should be fully responsible for their children when the children are adults. Meaning when you discover that you are an adult, then you should know that you have responsibilities and you must work to face then and not being totally dependent.
‎
‎But be it as it may, we all need support at every stage of life, but we should not be totally dependent. So it's a situational kind of a thing. Depending on the situation, you might get the support or parents can still be responsible and in some situations they might not.
