Soooo, I could have easily been two months since my last Splinterlands update and while my Splinterlands playing time has been much reduced because of other interests in my life, when I DO play, it still gives the same enjoyment and I have to say that without the daily grind, the battles in a season I do play have a much higher win rate, XBot is using the energy I am not using myself in Wild League battles and of course it's earning a lot less: around 1 SPS and 400 Glint per win, of which XBOT takes 30% of my SPS against 5 SPS and 550 Glint for every win in Modern League.
So, this morning I pushed quite easily in to Diamond 3 with my Silver level deck, with a win rate of 87.5% - pretty crazy! Soon, much will change when brackets go live and the playing fields will be more even again but the rewards will probably be much lower too.
Still I think it's a good change because it's just not a good experience when a player with a low level deck faces a player with a big level advantage, winning is still possible but the chance of getting a win isn't really high to start with, what I see last weeks in Gold League is there are a lot of players playing with the Foundation Archons, and seeing their rating, they're pretty successful with it too!
Last week my account buying and selling cards with the Splat Automated Service made a new record high with a whopping 1400% profit 😅
The profit itself wasn't too crazy, about 14 cents but it's fully automated.
I started this account with $4.50 worth of DEC, this account didn't had more at that moment, in the last months it got over $30 profit, that's a nice ROI for sure!

The battle I just played before deciding to make a Splinterlands post after all this time proves the importance of having a large deck, with combined ruleset limitations sometimes things get interesting!
Little League AND Rise of the Commons certainly limits the options..
When I was scrolling through the available cards, I remembered the synergy between Wailing Wraith and Ravenhood Warden, upgrading the Armored Strike while playing a tank I almost never used, turning out the be the perfect counter for the 3 magic attackers in the other team was nice to see.

Another solid win, with a nice reward to keep building my reward deck and my SPS bag which, combined across my accounts is closing in on 250k.
Over the years we as a person all change, and so do our interests but Splinterlands will be in my life for a very long time 😊
