After exploring that empty cavern and realizing there was nothing left for me there, I made a definitive choice: it’s time to leave the Strange Forest. However, venturing into unknown lands requires serious preparation, so I spent the night gathering every bit of food I could find. I managed to hunt a couple of rabbits and gather some apples and berries.

As expected, the local wildlife didn't make it easy. Lately, every single time I step out of camp at night, wolves immediately rush in to attack. On top of that, the evil shadows always cause trouble in the pitch black. Luckily, a good torch is all it takes to keep them at bay; these entities lose their strength in the presence of light.

Once my bags were full, I headed back to camp to process everything. I cooked the meat, boiled enough water to stay hydrated on the road, and double-checked my gear. I am officially ready to move past the borders of the Strange Forest, and I hope to show you the journey in my next post.

Después de haber explorado esa cueva y ver que estaba completamente vacía, tomé una decisión definitiva: es hora de abandonar el Bosque Extraño. Sin embargo, aventurarse a tierras desconocidas requiere una buena preparación, así que me dispuse a salir por la noche para recolectar toda la comida posible. Conseguí cazar un par de conejos y recoger algunas manzanas y bayas.

Como era de esperarse, la fauna local no me lo iba a poner fácil. Últimamente, cada vez que salgo del campamento por la noche, los lobos aparecen de inmediato para atacar. Además, las sombras malignas siempre causan problemas en la oscuridad, pero no es nada que una buena antorcha no pueda resolver; estas entidades pierden su fuerza ante la presencia de la luz.

Luego de recoger todo, volví al campamento para procesar las provisiones. Cociné la carne, herví suficiente agua para mantenerme hidratado en el viaje y me equipé bien para el trayecto. Estoy oficialmente listo para dejar atrás las fronteras del Bosque Extraño, y espero mostrarles el inicio de esta expedición en un próximo post.
