Funny thing is, when writing this I didn't even know some pinecones are edible... I just thought it'd be a funny punishment for Brentwick for what he did while Sir Marko was stuck as an NPC. But I did a quick search on a whim and it turns out you CAN eat some of them (after boiling or some such). But for the love of god, WHY??? Aside from starvation, the only reason I figure people would do it is for a bet. Maybe several hundred years ago this was to them what the Jackass show on MTV was for us.
But as to the main story, it seems our four remaining heroes have a rescue mission to pull off. That's not gonna be easy... only four of them, and no wizard to cast fireballs and lightning bolts on the giants from a distance. Looks like they're going to have to rely on their smarts, cunning, superior strategy, and luck.
With Sir Marko in charge it's pretty much down to just luck... 😆
In other news, in a couple days I'm about to embark on a road trip through the western parts of Mongolia. That's ten days where for the most part I'll have no access to the internet OR my crypto portfolio. Given how fast the crypto space moves, I figure it's a little like dog years... so ten days in crypto is the equivalent of over two months in traditional stock markets! So everyone do me a solid and stop screwing with the crypto markets until then... 😉
