I bring you this theme that we have all had to live through at certain moments of our lives, difficult moments that we do not know what to do or we do not find a solution, many times we think it is the end, we find ourselves in a fall into an enormous hole and we reach the ground, but generally that is because when we have problems we often cling to it thinking that it will give us the answer, we try to dig into that hole looking for a way out, knowing that the way out is not to keep focusing on the problem, because each time the hole will get bigger and deeper, the way out is up, we must build a staircase and get out of the hole where we are, which would represent the solution.
So when you have a problem, don't keep talking about it, but think of a solution to solve it. When you talk about the problem, it actually gets bigger and bigger, making other people think about it and get involved in your situation. Many will see the most negative aspects in order to be right and few will help you to solve it. Only listen to those who can bring you positive things or seek the advice of the right people who can guide you in finding a solution.
Always remember that just as there are problems, there are also solutions, you must be objective and focus only on the solutions, because constantly thinking about the problem will disturb you mentally, you will go around and around not getting anything, it will only make your mind think negative thoughts about it. I have seen cases of people who fall into a depressive state because they feel unable to cope with it, and it turns out that it is not that they have no solution, but that they cannot see beyond their limitations or think it only happens to them, or that they are unlucky, or that they are self-pitying because they think it is their fault or they feel sorry for themselves. That's why when you take another attitude to say, because I have this problem and I have to look for the solution, only your mind will work on that, "look for the solution ".
I suggest you sit down, think and write down your problem and all the possible solutions and just focus on them, this will allow your mind to open up and think about the positive things, which will allow you to see that the problem is not as big as you saw it at first.
I can give you an example of how you can focus on the solution instead of the problem:
Imagine that your car has been damaged and you don't have the money to repair it, maybe the idea that you won't be able to repair it will disturb you, that the spare parts are very expensive, that how you are going to do it if you don't have the money. Thinking about this constantly will not help you solve your problem. If you think about it, my problem is not that I have the car damaged, but that I don't have the money to repair it, then:
What do I have to do to make the money I need?
1.- To put an article on sale.
2.- Apply for a loan.
3.- Save the money to be able to acquire it.
4.- Do some extra work.
Placing the possible solutions, will help you to be an optimistic person and able to solve the problem that comes up. Just take the solution that is most feasible to implement and start without thinking twice. You just have to let go of the pressure and stress so you can reach the goal you want.
The point is not to avoid the problem or forget it, the idea is to solve it, but looking beyond the situation we are in, it will make us more proactive people. Remember that in front of the problems the best thing is the action, so don't hesitate and start working on the solution.
I'll leave you a video of the Patch Adams movie starring one of my favorite actors Robin Williams, which he refers to on this subject.
"Don't let some problem dwarf your being, you're bigger than any inconvenience that comes into your life.".
