The second concert, which took place in Maracaibo, ended with such thunderous applause that the whole band was taken by surprise—until, little by little, the stage lights began to dim. Even so, hundreds of people continued to enjoy that amazing experience and kept singing along to parts of the songs from the album Nuestra Voz. Michelle simply looked out at the audience and began to cry with happiness, remembering how no one had known them before and now they were singing their songs.
Lucas remained with his guitar in hand, savoring every second of the night. Richard raised his drumsticks to wave to the audience one last time as the applause grew even louder, and Tomás decided to record part of that very special moment. Finally, they left the venue and headed to the hotel where they were staying, since it was too late to set out for the third city; the good news was that during the drive, everyone got to see what Maracaibo looked like at night.
When they arrived at the hotel, everyone was already tired, but they still held a short meeting, and Michelle was the first to speak. She said, “A few months ago, we dreamed of filling a single venue, and today thousands of people sang along with us”—and everyone agreed with that. The hours flew by, and dawn broke right there, at which point everyone began packing their bags, since their next destination—Barquisimeto—was already waiting for them.
This would be a long road trip of more than eight hours, passing through diverse landscapes and well-known towns. Everyone boarded the bus, and Michelle watched the sunrise through the window. Lucas held his guitar as always, Richard listened to music, and Tomás gazed at the road with great excitement. The band remained steadfast, because after two concerts, everyone understood that each city represented a new challenge and a new opportunity for more people to discover Nuestra Voz—and for each person to write their own story.
