Luego de cinco días de trabajo, llegó el gran día del concierto en Ciudad Guayana, donde toda la banda estaba despierta desde muy temprano, a pesar de no tener tanto fuerza, cada vez estaba más cerca de poder hacer historia en dicha ciudad y este sería el concierto más grande de toda la gira. Lucas tomó su guitarra y práctico algunas notas imaginando cómo sería tocar frente a miles de personas, Michelle seguía pendiente de cada detalle del espectáculo, Richard, también estaba completamente concentrado en su batería, mientras que Tomás dejó lista su cámara.
Ese día la ciudad se sentía distinta y se notaba como cientos de personas caminaban alrededor del estadio con carteles, música, mientras que, por otro lado, ya la banda estaba reunida en uno de los camerinos, donde todos estaban emocionados, pero también nervioso, ya que estaban a punto de vivir algo muy grande. Michelle miró a sus compañeros y en voz alta comentó —Hoy es el día—Lucas levantó su guitarra, Richard estaba feliz y Tomás preparó su cámara para grabar, puesto que después de una semana de trabajo, finalmente habían conseguido que cada cosa estuviera en su lugar.
After five days of work, the big day of the concert in Ciudad Guayana arrived. The whole band was up early, and despite not having the best energy, they were getting closer to making history in that city. This would be the biggest concert of the entire tour. Lucas picked up his guitar and practiced a few notes, imagining what it would be like to play in front of thousands of people. Michelle kept a close eye on every detail of the show, Richard was also completely focused on his drums, while Tomás got his camera ready.
That day, the city felt different. Hundreds of people could be seen walking around the stadium with signs and music, while the band was already gathered in one of the dressing rooms. Everyone was excited, but also nervous, as they were about to experience something huge. Michelle looked at her bandmates and said aloud, "Today's the day!" Lucas raised his guitar, Richard was overjoyed, and Tomás prepared his camera to record, since after a week of work, they had finally managed to get everything in place.
Sin embargo, minutos después ocurrió algo que dejó a todos sorprendidos y es que toda la ciudad quedó sin energía eléctrica y por eso automáticamente se fue la luz en el estadio y todos quedaron sorprendidos. Michelle pensó que era una broma y que la luz llegaría de inmediato, pero en realidad nada funcionaba y todos los equipos que habían preparado durante una semana dependían de aquel servicio. Richard preguntó —¿Y qué hacemos ahora?—
Los técnicos seguían buscando alguna solución, mientras miles de personas estaban allí esperando una respuesta de lo que estaba pasando. Además, Lucas miró hacia el escenario y después a sus compañeros, donde todos habían llegado hasta allí después de recorrer siete ciudades, pasar horas en carretera, enfrentar cansancio, nervios y ahora a punto de comenzar ocurre eso, siendo la primera situación que la banda 17 no podía resolver. Donde ahora tenían que tomar la decisión si suspender el concierto o esperar a que llegara la luz, siendo algo muy difícil para todos, la Banda simplemente se miraba entre ellos, mientras que el público afuera gritaba y aplaudía.
However, minutes later, something happened that surprised everyone: the entire city lost power, and the lights in the stadium went out as well, leaving everyone stunned. Michelle thought it was a joke and that the power would come back on immediately, but in reality, nothing was working, and all the equipment they had prepared for a week depended on that power. Richard asked, "What do we do now?"
The technicians continued searching for a solution, while thousands of people waited there for an explanation. Lucas looked toward the stage and then at his bandmates, who had all traveled to seven cities, spent hours on the road, and endured exhaustion and nerves. Now, just as they were about to begin, this happened—the first situation that Band 17 couldn't resolve. They now had to decide whether to cancel the concert or wait for the power to come back on, a difficult decision for everyone. The band members simply looked at each other, while the audience outside cheered and applauded.
