Mine happened many years ago, when one of my nephews was still a little boy. Today he is already thirty years old, but back then he was about eight.
Someone had given him a toy gun that shot small suction-cup darts, and he loved running around the house pretending to shoot everyone.
One day, a close friend of my father came to visit. He was a very serious gentleman whom we all respected.
When I saw my nephew coming toward the living room with his toy gun, I immediately took it away from him because I was afraid he might accidentally shoot our visitor.
I thought I had prevented an embarrassing situation.
Instead, while I was talking with my father's friend, I accidentally pulled the trigger myself.
The dart flew straight toward him and landed right on his face.
I wished the floor would open and swallow me.
Of course, I apologized over and over, and fortunately he understood it had been an accident.
After he left, everyone in the family burst into laughter.

Creo que todos tenemos alguna historia que en su momento nos hizo pasar mucha vergüenza, pero que con el tiempo termina convirtiéndose en una anécdota divertida.

Un día vino de visita un amigo de mi padre. Era un señor muy serio, al que todos le teníamos mucho respeto.
Cuando vi a mi sobrino acercarse con la pistola, rápidamente se la quité de las manos porque temía que fuera a dispararle al visitante.
Pensé que había evitado un momento incómodo.
Pero ocurrió exactamente lo contrario.
Mientras conversaba con el amigo de mi padre, sin darme cuenta accioné el gatillo y la flecha salió disparada directamente hacia él... ¡hasta pegarle en la cara!

Me gustan las prendas sencillas, prácticas y que me permitan moverme con libertad.
Como además disfruto cosiendo, muchas veces prefiero arreglar o adaptar una prenda antes que sustituirla.
A veces basta un pequeño cambio para darle una segunda oportunidad.
Creo que la moda cambia constantemente, pero sentirse bien con uno mismo nunca pasa de moda.
Ese es el estilo que intento seguir.
